Job summary
VetsEZ is seeking an experienced InterSystems IRIS Developer for a fully remote role supporting a large federal healthcare modernization project. You will work on IRIS/Caché, ObjectScript, VX130 data migrations, and Oracle Health integrations within an Agile/DevOps environment.
The role requires 5+ years with Caché/IRIS, 3+ years ObjectScript, strong REST API and integration skills, and collaboration across VA stakeholders and contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise apps with InterSystems Caché and/or IRIS.
- 3+ years of ObjectScript development with IRIS classes, globals, SQL, and data access.
- Experience designing REST APIs, web services, and enterprise data processing solutions.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps/CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain enterprise apps using IRIS/Caché and ObjectScript.
- Implement RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations per VA patterns.
- Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and support production sustainment and upgrades.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD using GitHub/Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate across architects, analysts, data-quality, and VA stakeholders.
