Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a healthcare Quality & Clinical Transformation Internship designed to provide hands-on experience in clinical quality, patient outcomes, safety, and operational effectiveness. Interns will learn from Quality and Clinical Transformation leaders and cross-functional partners while contributing to data analysis, process improvement, and change management initiatives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare administration, public health, health sciences, business, data analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
No experience required.
Current enrollment with junior or senior status; GPA of at least 2.5.

Responsibilities

Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects focused on improving patient outcomes, safety, care delivery, and operational performance.
Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
Participate in project meetings, improvement workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives.
Help document current-state processes, identify gaps, and support future-state workflows.
Research healthcare quality improvement practices and emerging trends to support transformation efforts.
