Job summary

The Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative to recruit host families for our High School Exchange Program and guide them through the application and orientation process. You will provide ongoing support to ensure successful exchanges, working with local schools and families within your community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and manage time.
• Reliable transportation for local travel.
• Basic computer literacy for online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone calls or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports accurately in the online system.
