Job summary

Extenteam is hiring a Software Engineer for our Shared Services operation. You will work on internal tooling and automation to solve real problems for agents in Manila and our Ops teams.

This is a ticket-driven role, not roadmap-driven. You will read tickets, ask clarifying questions, prioritize work, and ship reliable code quickly while collaborating closely with the Head of Operations and the Head of Shared Services Operations. Remote-friendly with daily overlap in Eastern Time.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, Temporal).
• Comfort with agentic coding tools.
• Fluent with SQL databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and webhooks.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering for production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage and diagnose internal tickets from agents and teams.
• Ship fixes, automations, and small tools to address immediate needs.
• Identify patterns to build durable solutions and reduce ticket recurrence.
• Collaborate with operations users to validate fixes and iterate.
