Job summary

Serve Robotics is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer, Internal Services to build and improve internal deployment tooling that helps ship robot software safely and at fleet scale. You will work across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure and embedded software, contributing to CI/CD, observability, and governance features.

You will own critical deployment workflows, participate in on-call rotations, review code, and help maintain high production quality and reliability in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems or internal tools.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js or TypeScript-based services.
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and modern web frameworks (Vue preferred, React acceptable).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Ability to own a problem area end-to-end and work through ambiguity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain internal web services and UIs supporting release workflows for engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Collaborate across frontend, backend, cloud, and embedded software components.
• Improve observability with real-time status, logs, timelines, and audit trails for deployment health.
• Strengthen CI/CD, automated testing, and release safety checks.
• Contribute to deployment governance features like access control and auditing.
• Provide thoughtful code reviews and constructive feedback.
• Support production rollouts and participate in on-call rotation for internal services.
• Deliver quality software with ownership and reliability.
