Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Internal Developer Platform Engineer to design and build self-service platforms that streamline the software development lifecycle. Qualifications

• > 4+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
• + Experience building internal developer platforms and portals using Backstage or Cortex.
• + Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD platform design.
• + Proficiency in Go or Python for developing service templates and automation.
• + Strong background in improving developer experience and self-service scaffolding.
• + Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain a centralized developer portal to improve service discovery and documentation.
• Create automated service templates and scaffolding to accelerate onboarding of new microservices.
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to standardize deployment processes across the organization.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads and manage platform components within Kubernetes environments.
• Partner with development teams to identify friction points and enhance the overall developer experience.
• Develop custom plugins and integrations to extend the capabilities of the internal platform.
