Job summary

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support month-end close and accounting operations across multiple international entities. This fully remote role prefers candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time Zone, with an anticipated duration of approximately six months.

The Senior Accountant will manage month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency accounting, and analytics, partnering with FP&A on forecasts and spending reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 3+ years in accounting within complex corporate or public environments.
• Experience with multi-entity and international accounting.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; able to explain results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities for multiple entities with journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency accounting.
• Prepare variance analyses and provide commentary with FP&A for forecasts.
• Support audit requests and maintain internal controls.
