Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Integration Analyst/Engineer to support the VA VIPPS system, handling design, data migration, and API integration across enterprise systems. This role blends analysis with hands-on implementation in a fully remote US setting.

You will collaborate with the Data Integration Lead and API developers to ensure accurate data mappings, testing, and data quality while upholding security and compliance requirements. The position offers growth within GovCIO's enterprise IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of systems integration, data migration/conversion, API/interface development, or related technical implementation experience.
• Strong data and systems analysis skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integration concepts.
• Proficiency with SQL, data mapping, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of VIPPS solution.
• Collaborate with Data Integration Lead, API/Integration Developers, and SMEs to design and build system integrations.
• Perform data migration activities including profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and testing.
• Analyze source/target systems to understand data structures and business rules for mappings.
• Assist in API and interface development using REST, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger, SQL.
