Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Integration Analyst/Engineer to support the VA VIPPS system. You will help design and implement enterprise data integrations and migrate legacy data to the new platform. The role blends analysis with hands-on integration work.

Responsibilities include API development collaboration, data profiling and transformation, and testing across the enterprise. You will work remote from within the United States with standard 8–5 ET hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, data migration/conversion, API/interface development or related activities.
• Strong data and systems analysis skills.
• Ability to develop source‑to‑target data mappings and data transformations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and enterprise integration concepts.
• Experience with API testing and automated test frameworks.
• Experience with Federal/VA enterprise systems is a plus.
• Experience integrating SaaS and external systems.
• Knowledge of iFAMS and ECMS.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of VIPPS solution.
• Collaborate with Data Integration Lead and developers to design and build system integrations.
• Perform data migration activities including profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and testing.
• Analyze source/target systems to understand data structures and rules.
• Assist in API/interface development using REST, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger, SQL.
• Support API and integration testing with reusable automated tests.
• Troubleshoot data-quality issues and interface errors.
• Document integration processes, mappings, and test results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes and tools.
• Ensure activities meet security and Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
