GovCIO is seeking an Integration Analyst/Engineer to support the VA VIPPS system, focusing on design, implementation, testing, deployment, and data migration activities across enterprise integrations.

The role blends analysis with technical work, requiring collaboration with data-integrations leads, API developers, and SMEs to meet enterprise data standards, while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration and data migration.
• Strong data and systems analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze source/target systems and develop mappings.
• Background with APIs and REST.
• Proficiency with SQL, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger, and interface specs.
• Ability to support API testing and automated tests.
• Experience with Federal or VA enterprise systems.
• Experience with SaaS integrations.
• Knowledge of iFAMS and ECMS.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of VIPPS.
• Collaborate with Data Integration Lead, API/Integration Developers, and SMEs to design integrations.
• Perform data migration activities including profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and testing.
• Analyze source and target systems to develop accurate source‑to‑target mappings.
• Assist in API and interface development using REST, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger, SQL.
• Support API testing by designing and executing test cases and contributing to automated testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot integration and data‑exchange issues and data quality concerns.
• Document integration processes, mappings, and test results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes and tools.
• Ensure activities align with security, compliance, and clearance requirements.
