Job summary

Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst / Technical Consultant to bridge clients, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams in complex integrations.

You will lead discovery conversations, document data mappings, and translate customer needs into clear technical specifications for development and go-live readiness. This role is highly client-facing, remote-enabled, and requires coordinating with diverse teams across projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Integration Analyst, or similar role in software development or enterprise technology implementations.
• Proven experience on complex system integrations involving cloud platforms, enterprise apps, or SaaS products.
• Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, web services, integration workflows, and data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV.
• Experience with file-based integrations, ETL, FTP/SFTP.
• Strong skills gathering requirements and translating business processes into technical specs.
• Participation in multiple complex integration projects from discovery through go-live.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions to understand business processes, architectures, workflows, and integration needs.
• Elicit and document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for cloud-based software integrations.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Create detailed data-mapping documents defining source/target fields, transformation rules, and validation logic.
• Work with REST APIs, web services, file-based integrations, ETL, FTP/SFTP, JSON, XML, CSV.
• Guide clients and internal teams on API usage, data transformation, integration design, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, solution architects, QA, project managers, and product teams throughout delivery.
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and scope gaps before they impact delivery.
• Support functional/integration testing with acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and validation plans.
• Use Postman to inspect API requests, responses, payloads, and errors; troubleshoot issues.
