Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst in Houston to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and software teams. You will identify business needs, analyze processes, gather requirements, and support technology initiatives in an Agile environment.

The role requires translating objectives into technical requirements, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, information technology, computer science, project management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Project Management, or Technology Implementation.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical requirements and user stories.
• Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS platforms, business applications, or technology-enabled solutions.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar development environments.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to identify needs and process improvements.
• Develop user stories, use cases, workflows, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams.
• Partner with developers, engineers, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Perform gap analysis and evaluate opportunities for product, process, and system enhancements.
• Support planning and coordination of multiple projects, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource impacts.
• Facilitate project meetings, requirements reviews, and solution discussions.
• Track project status and communicate updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support testing, user acceptance activities, and solution validation.
• Assist with change management, implementation planning, training, and adoption efforts.
• Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making and project execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
