Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare service (benefit verification, prior authorization, patient access).
• Experience with healthcare insurance plans, eligibility, coverage, and authorization processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to support patients, families, and referral partners.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Processes orders from referral sources.
• Assesses patient needs upon arrival.
• Responds to phone and fax inquiries.
• Verifies patient benefits and eligibility for requested services.
• Obtains information for prior authorization if applicable.
• Completes start of care paperwork.
• Communicates insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
