Qualifications

• Experience in a mental health practice or medical office preferred.
• Excellent phone and client communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries.
• Discuss services with prospective clients and connect to clinicians.
• Schedule appointments.
• Set up new clients in the EHR.
• Enter client demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Explain coverage and client financial responsibilities.
• Ensure intake paperwork is completed prior to appointments.
• Maintain accurate client records.
• Coordinate with therapists and staff.
• Assist with additional office tasks as needed.
