Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process referrals in EMR, gather patient and insurance data, and document progress.
• Route inbound referrals per department standards and maintain EMR documentation.
• Coordinate with patient, clinic, and insurer on prior authorization and cost estimates.
• Contact insurers to obtain approvals and advocate for the patient.
• Collaborate with Patient Service Representatives and staff; handle denials/appeals docs.
• Enter data and generate reports per department protocols.
• Meet performance standards and metrics aligned with mission.
