Regional Reporting, Inc. is a leading loss control provider for the property and casualty Insurance industry, delivering commercial inspections and underwriting support.

The Insurance Loss Control Consultant conducts on-site inspections, captures photos, and documents findings in underwriting reports through the online portal. Responsibilities include recording observations, identifying construction types and hazards, meeting due dates, and coordinating with the Field Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control or major insurance carriers
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines – Property, General Liability, Inland Marine
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes
• Solid communication and time management skills
• Exceptional writing ability, organizational skills and computer skills
• Ability to work from home with a PC, high-speed internet and a cell/smart phone
• Automobile and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet
• Digital camera or smartphone with picture capability
• Measuring wheel or similar tool and camera pole

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier requirements
• Identify building and roof construction type, square footage, hazards
• Complete assignments/reports by due dates
• Communicate with Field Manager to complete inspections efficiently
• Coordinate inspection times with insured representatives onsite
• Prepare and report inspection results with photos and diagrams
• Travel to insured locations, overnight travel may be required
