Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. seeks an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections across our coverage area. You will collect observations, photos, and measurements, and document findings in underwriting reports.

Responsibilities include identifying building construction, ISO classes, NFPA code considerations, and timely reporting. Travel to insured sites is required with some overnight stays; work from home supported by a PC and phone.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with Loss Control Service Providers or Major Insurance Carriers
• Broad understanding of commercial insurance lines - Property, General Liability, Inland Marine
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes
• Strong writing, organization and computer skills
• Ability to work from home with PC, internet and phone
• Valid driver's license and automobile
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet
• Camera or phone with picture capability
• Measuring wheel and camera pole

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier requirements
• Identify building construction type, square footage and hazards
• Complete assignments/reports by due dates
• Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections
• Schedule inspections with insured representatives onsite
• Prepare and report inspection results and upload photos
• Travel to insured locations, including occasional overnight trips
