The Insurance Loss Control Consultant will perform commercial inspections, take measurements and photos, and document findings in underwriting reports. Travel to insured locations is required, with some overnight trips; candidates should have at least two years of loss control experience, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work from

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or major carriers.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial lines: Property, GL and Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and NFPA codes.
• Reliable home-based work setup with PC and internet.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial insurance inspections and prepare underwriting reports.
• Record onsite observations with measurements and photos according to carrier requirements.
• Upload reports and diagrams to the online underwriting system.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with insured representatives and manage travel.
