The Insurance Loss Control Consultant will conduct commercial inspections, document findings and upload underwriting reports to our online system, with assignments scheduled daily or weekly per location. Ideal candidates have at least two years in loss control or underwriting support, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with loss control or insurance carriers.
• Understanding of commercial insurance lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to work from home with internet and a cell phone.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations with measurements and photos per carrier rules.
• Identify building construction types and ISO classes.
• Complete assignments/reports by due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to coordinate inspections.
• Schedule inspections with insured representatives onsite.
• Prepare and report inspection results with photos/diagrams online.
• Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
