You will handle cases involving claims for monetary damages or property loss of moderate value, using advanced legal strategies and technology. The role emphasizes client advisory, settlement negotiations, mentoring junior attorneys, and ensuring compliance with MRPC and company policies.

Qualifications

• JD or LLB from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Utah bar in good standing.
• 5+ years of trial attorney experience, insurance litigation preferred.
• Proven record managing moderately complex litigation.
• Knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with e-discovery tools and case management software.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior attorneys.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all phases of litigation for moderate to heavy value claims.
• Support Senior Trial Counsel and Senior Litigation Counsel through trial.
• Develop and refine advanced legal strategies for discovery and trial.
• Employ e-discovery tools, case management systems, and data analysis.
• Provide clear legal opinions and strategic client advice.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks with clients and senior attorneys.
• Design and conduct training sessions; mentor junior attorneys and staff.
• Ensure documents comply with MRPC and company policies.
