Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Risk & Insurance to provide strategic leadership over enterprise risk management, insurance programs, risk governance, and operational risk initiatives for a leading utility organization.

This executive role partners with senior leadership to oversee ERM, market and credit risk, business continuity, and risk reporting, driving a proactive risk culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in risk management and insurance, incl. contracts and compliance.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing risk strategies.
• Knowledge of insurance products, coverage, and regulatory standards.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk management and insurance strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Manage insurance programs, negotiating coverage and pricing.
• Oversee risk/insurance budget and resource allocation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and contractual obligations.
• Lead audit processes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk considerations.
• Provide guidance to senior management on risk matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive improvements.
