Job summary

PRO IS, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Underwriting Support Assistant for a remote, full-time role. You will support underwriters and process data using Excel, Word, and PDFs, with comprehensive training provided, while working 8:00 am–5:00 pm EST.

This position emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and multi-system coordination. Candidates must reside in the lower 48 states and be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to map locations and verify data
• Comfort using Word and PDF documents
• Ability to work across multiple systems and meet deadlines
• Accurate data entry and data cleaning
• Ability to translate or interpret documentation
• Able to navigate online maps and client systems

Responsibilities

• Enter policyholder data into client systems
• Map property locations to nearest body of water
• Assemble final policy documents from multiple parts
• Sort and filter data in Excel (states, vehicles, payroll)
• Analyze and input information into systems
• Use pivot tables and VLOOKUP to standardize data
• Convert Word and PDF documents into Excel
• Use Google/Maps to locate addresses and coordinates
• Translate client documentation as needed
