Requirements include 1 year of insurance billing experience, EOB analysis, and familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding. The pay range is $18–$20 per hour, with the final offer based on experience and location.

Qualifikationen

• Experience analyzing EOBs from multiple insurance payers.
• Minimum 1 year in insurance billing/follow up for Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial payer.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Aufgaben

• Resolve patient and insurance credit balance refunds.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash activity.
• Document requests via mail, email, phone, or in person on patient accounts.
• Respond to insurer and patient refund requests within 30 days.
• Identify root causes of refund needs and report recurring issues.
• Correct errors in insurance contractual adjustments.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI.
• Align work with MGRI expectations and company values.
• Follow policies and procedures.
