Zusammenfassung

Porch Group seeks a Corporate Counsel, Insurance to provide legal services to senior leadership and the Insurance carrier's executive team. You will lead the Insurance legal and compliance team and drive regulatory initiatives, risk management, and governance.

You will report to the General Counsel and partner with Finance, Product, Compliance and Claims to support strategic objectives, market launches, and examinations. Texas regulatory experience is essential.

Qualifikationen

• > J.D. with active bar membership in the US.
• > 3–5 years of experience in Texas (law firm, regulator, or in-house) including insurance regulatory experience.
• > Experience with insurance regulatory matters (state DOI filings, rate and form approvals, market conduct).
• > Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• > Experience managing outside counsel.

Aufgaben

• Provide legal counsel to senior leadership to support objectives and mitigate regulatory risk.
• Lead and develop the Insurance legal and compliance team; set priorities and growth.
• Own complex strategic legal initiatives tied to company strategy.
• Prepare and review insurance filings and governance reports.
• Lead Insurance division secretarial activities for Board and committees.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Compliance, and Claims to drive outcomes.
