Job summary

Porch Group is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Insurance to provide strategic legal support to senior leadership and the Insurance division. You will lead the Insurance legal and compliance team, manage regulatory initiatives, and coordinate with Finance, Product, Compliance, and Claims to drive approvals, market launches, and strong examination results.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active US bar membership.
• 3–5 years of experience in Texas in law firm, government, or in‑house.
• Insurance regulatory experience including state filings and rate/form approvals.
• Experience leading legal or compliance workstreams.
• Experience managing outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to senior leadership and Insurance executives.
• Lead and develop the Insurance legal and compliance team.
• Own strategic legal and regulatory initiatives.
• Prepare filings for insurance products and governance reports.
• Coordinate with Finance, Product, Compliance, and Claims.
