Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a customer service capacity
• 1+ year of experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• 1+ year of experience with medical insurance, coding, or billing in a professional environment
• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides service via omni channels to serve as liaison between business, clients, patients, and insurance companies
• Educates on healthcare revenue cycle and troubleshoots accounts through resolution
• Reviews information with callers and diffuses conflict
• Makes changes in client healthcare systems and internal platforms
• Submits insurance claims on behalf of clients and follows through to resolution
• Develops workflows for incoming clients and communicates expectations to the contact center
• Shares information about healthcare revenue cycle services to support client growth
• Follows department processes in compliance with industry laws and regulations
• Manages inventory to ensure metrics and prevent accounts from being sent to collections
• Reviews complex accounts and escalates for further review
• Meets KPIs and maintains confidentiality; completes required training
• All other duties as assigned
