Meduit | Driving Revenue Cycle Performance is seeking an Insurance Specialist for a remote, work-from-home role serving hospital and physician clients across the United States. The position covers eligibility verification, authorizations, claims submission, AR follow-up, and denial resolution to support timely reimbursement.

You will work with payers and internal teams, maintain accurate records, and adhere to productivity and quality standards.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 3+ years in insurance follow-up, denials management, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Proficient in patient billing, claims submission, and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with Epic and Cerner systems.

Responsabilidades

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
• Submit, review, and follow up on insurance claims to facilitate timely payment.
• Research and resolve denied, rejected, unpaid, or underpaid claims.
• Communicate with carriers via phone, portals, and written correspondence.
• Review payment activity and reconcile account balances.
• Maintain accurate claim activity records.
• Reduce aging receivables through proactive follow-up.
• Identify payer processing issues impacting reimbursement.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex account issues.
