Meduit | Driving Revenue Cycle Performance is seeking an Insurance Manager to lead insurance billing and follow-up across client projects. This remote role oversees a team to ensure quality and efficiency while guiding client-focused strategies for improvements.

The position emphasizes partnerships and continuous growth within a dynamic healthcare landscape. The role requires 6+ years in healthcare RCM leadership, extensive experience with insurance follow-up and AR, and proficiency with Epic

Qualificações

• 6+ years of healthcare RCM leadership experience.
• Experience managing a total team size of 50+ employees.
• Hands-on experience with Insurance Follow-Up, Denials Management, Prior Authorization, Eligibility Verification, Benefits Verification, and AR Follow-Up.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, Commercial Insurance.
• Experience with Hospital Billing and Physician/Professional Billing.
• Proficiency with Epic; Experience with EHR platforms such as MEDITECH Expanse or HealthQuest.

About the Role:

The Insurance Manager leads insurance billing and follow-up operations for client-contracted projects, providing oversight and guidance to ensure quality, efficiency, and professional growth. This role leads client-focused strategies to strengthen partnerships and drive continuous improvement.

$80,000 to $105,000 base + Monthly Performance Incentives

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages existing client relationships and leads the development of new clients
• Oversees supervisors and staff in training and education and ensures team is current on all new processes for internal, governmental, and client related

• Manages staff in areas of HR including performance reviews, conduct expectations, hiring and firing of staff and addresses any performance, quality of work, and/or other concerns in an effective and timely manner
• Initiates team development projects and opportunities to improve performance of team
• Discovers revenue enhancement opportunities and implements improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience in a leadership role Experience managing total team size of 50+ employees
• Hands-on experience with Insurance Follow-Up, Denials Management, Prior Authorization, Eligibility Verification, Benefits Verification, and accounts receivable (AR) Follow-Up involving Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and Commercial Payors.
• Experience in Hospital Billing (HB) and Physician Billing / Professional Billing (PB).
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, Commercial Insurance
• Required experience using Epic. Expertise using Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, which may also include MEDITECH Expanse or HealthQuest.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Waystar or Experian Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platforms
• Experience with Rural & Critical Access Hospitals (CAH)
