Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicates policies and educates staff on billing issues to promote efficient flow of billing processes.
• Counsels patients on financial and other issues regarding accounts management.
• Advises department managers on collection issues that arise.
• Handles missing charge ticket list, locating missing tickets and generating replacements.
• Oversees posting, collections and reimbursement functions as applicable.
• Monitors and updates monthly collection totals in the department.
• Supervises staff and participates in selection, training and back-up coverage.
