Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Business Services Supervisor to oversee institutional claim processing and ensure compliant, timely billing within the Revenue Billing group. You will lead daily workflows, monitor performance, and drive quality across hospital billing functions.

The ideal candidate has an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting with substantial healthcare billing experience and strong supervisory skills. Remote work with in-person as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting.
• Substantial accounting, healthcare business, or hospital billing experience.
• Strong supervisory experience and knowledge of billing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hospital commercial and governmental billing functions for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Oversee governmental follow-up activities to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Provide training, counseling, and guidance to billing staff.
• Monitor staff productivity to ensure departmental, unit, and individual goals are met.
• Oversee processing and billing of institutional claims.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and standard accounts receivable practices.
