This role offers an annual base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities, plus PTO, work-from-home options, and a schedule that supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active VA Life and Health Insurance license is required.
• Proven track record of managing and growing a personal book of business.
• Strong understanding of insurance policy structures and underwriting guidelines.
• Comfort with face-to-face client meetings and public speaking.
• Experience using CRM platforms to organize daily outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities to help families and business owners secure their financial future.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure clients have the right coverage for their goals.
• Educate clients on insurance concepts using clear language.
• Maintain an active presence in the Lynchburg community through local events and networking.
• Develop outreach strategies to build a referral network.
• Coordinate with internal support staff to streamline onboarding for new policyholders.
