Job summary

Sentry in Columbus, OH is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to sell specialized commercial insurance products to niche market accounts. You will build relationships, grow premium volume, and work closely with underwriting and service teams.

This role emphasizes remote work capability, disciplined self-management, and a track record of meeting sales objectives. A bachelor's degree and valid licenses are preferred, with strong analytic and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/related sales experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain P&C and Life licenses to sell Sentry products.
• Self-discipline and ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, communicate effectively, and stay organized.
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Sell directly to niche market accounts to increase premium volume.
• Retain profitable business by providing effective, quality service to policyholders.
• Build and maintain quality relationships with businesses.
• Work directly with Underwriting, Claims, Loss Control, Audit, Customer Service, and other key partners.
• Call on and pursue all niche market opportunities assigned to your geographic territory.
• Leverage current customers and relationships for new growth and sales opportunities.
