Zusammenfassung

Redtree Engineering seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design and develop control systems for distributed generation and district energy projects, including DCS/PLC systems. The role offers 100% remote work within the United States and opportunities across EPC and DBB projects.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree and 2–6 years of I&C experience, with knowledge of instrumentation, control system design, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and field support.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 2–6 years of I&C design experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and automation system design principles.
• Experience with P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument data sheets, wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Aufgaben

• Support I&C engineering across design phases from front-end to commissioning.
• Develop control system architecture, I/O lists, narratives, and diagrams.
• Prepare instrument data sheets, wiring, and interconnection drawings.
• Coordinate with process and mechanical teams on P&IDs.
• Assist with procurement, RFQ docs, and vendor submittals.
• Contribute to project reports and technical documentation.
• Support field investigations and site data collection.
