Job summary

Varonis is seeking an Instructional Technical Designer who blends instructional design with front-end/web development to create engaging, scalable digital learning experiences. You’ll partner with SMEs and stakeholders to turn complex topics into clear learning journeys, then bring them to life using modern eLearning tools and custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript when templates aren’t enough.

This role is a 6-month temporary position focusing on interactive modules, LMS troubleshooting, and elevating

Qualifications

3+ years designing and developing digital learning experiences.
Experience with front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Strong proficiency with at least one major eLearning authoring ecosystem and multimedia workflows.
Experience working with an LMS and understanding platform constraints.
Solid instructional design foundation (ADDIE or similar).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical topics.

Responsibilities

Design engaging digital learning assets (eLearning modules, videos, interactive content, knowledge checks).
Create outlines, storyboards, scripts, and objectives to guide development.
Iterate content using feedback and updates to stay current.
Design and maintain learning experiences aligned with product changes and objectives.
Build and enhance interactive learning experiences using HTML/CSS/JS.
Package, test, and troubleshoot eLearning deliverables (SCORM/xAPI).
QA practices (cross-browser testing, accessibility checks) and document fixes.
