Job summary

InEight seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to build best-in-class customer education experiences for its construction management software. You will translate complex technical concepts into engaging learning, including virtual instructor-led trainings, interactive eLearning, video tutorials, and performance support materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design and Training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instruction Design or related field preferred.
• Strong skills developing learning content for complex software.
• Intermediate video production skills (Camtasia preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced eLearning content production (Articulate 360).
• Strong technical writing and visual design with attention to detail.
• Experience with a Learning Management System.
• Creative problem-solving to address learning challenges.
• Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent communication focused on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to identify requirements and support training content design.
• Identify key learning objectives across training and audience types.
• Own and participate in design, development, refinement and evaluation of software training materials across modules and roles.
• Author, edit, and format scripts, storyboards, tutorials, facilitator guides, quick guides, and in-app resources using MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Develop interactive eLearning content including simulations and assessments using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
• Produce, edit, and refine instructional videos using Camtasia and Wistia.
• Build hands-on practice labs content using Skillable Studio.
• Publish and maintain content for the LMS and Knowledge Library with global Customer Education team.
• Participate in training needs analyses and review instructional design standards.
