Job summary

CapeTalent is seeking a Remote Instructional Designer (Contract) to own end-to-end learning journeys across fintech and SaaS products. You will design, storyboard, and build, integrating AI-assisted workflows to accelerate outlines, content, and course population while maintaining quality and learner focus.

You will collaborate with SMEs, designers, and developers, delivering scalable, engaging sessions and reusable design systems.

Qualifications

5+ years designing and developing instructional content with end-to-end journeys.
Experience building scalable, reusable learning components.
Proven ability to translate fintech and SaaS workflows into learner-friendly experiences.
Strong understanding of learning science and cognitive load.

Responsibilities

Design full learning journeys tied to real workflows and outcomes.
Produce storyboards and learning flows for scalable development.
Rebuild legacy content into visual, current, learner-first material.
Grow design systems, prompt libraries, and reusable models.
Create facilitator-led and live virtual sessions with participant materials.
Develop persona-driven microlearning, simulations, and game mechanics.
Lead course development in Articulate Storyline and Rise with AI feedback.
Incorporate video, animation, and multimedia for cohesive experiences.
Collaborate with SMEs, product, and technical partners to align with business goals.
Ensure compliance, QA, and version control within the workflow.
