Job summary

National Math and Science Initiative seeks a Manager, Instructional Design to lead the development of online math and science learning materials. You will collaborate with a team to design modules, videos, infographics, and simulations using evidence-based instructional design practices.

You will apply ADDIE, ensure culturally responsive pedagogy informs all materials, and coordinate with partners to blend in-person and online training. Remote-first, full-time with US-wide flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and implementing LMS platforms.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methods for online and in-person settings.
• Experience with creating engaging learning materials for online delivery.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive pedagogy in content development.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop engaging online learning materials (modules, videos, infographics, simulations).
• Apply ADDIE and other instructional design models to online content.
• Ensure materials reflect current culturally responsive pedagogy.
• Support hybrid delivery by integrating in-person and online elements.
• Utilize LMS platforms to deliver and track learner progress.
