Job summary

Axon is seeking a field installation professional to lead hardware and software deployments across the U.S., traveling up to 80% of the time. You’ll install networks, cameras, microphones, and touch panels, while guiding customers and 3rd parties to ensure an excellent interview room experience.

The role emphasizes experience with law enforcement environments, strong communication, and the ability to train both technical and non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with or knowledge of law enforcement contexts.
• Ability to install and configure networks, cameras, mics, and touch panels.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with customers.
• Strong teamwork and exceptional communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving.
• Willing to visit clients weekly; reside near a major airport.
• Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Understanding of IP cameras, AV, and POE.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN basics.
• Understanding of low-voltage data cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and manage installations to ensure efficiency and speed.
• Update daily reports and standups on installation status.
• Attend weekly client visits; maintain reliable attendance.
• Deploy hardware and software solutions in dynamic environments.
• Develop installation diagrams and thorough documentation.
• Engage with technology decision-makers after the sale.
• Conduct training for technical and non-technical staff on Axon Interview solution.
• Ensure compliant interview data collection environment.
