Job summary

Karius is expanding the adoption of its proprietary sequencing test across hospitals in the United States. The Inside Sales Representative drives proactive outreach, creates early opportunities, and handoffs to field teams for continued development.

In partnership with CSMs/MSLs, the ISR owns the front end of the customer journey, building pipeline and accelerating conversations with hospital stakeholders in the Greater Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of sales or business development in life sciences.
• Experience introducing novel products in clinical environments.
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to engage a wide range of hospital stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Proactively introduce Karius' diagnostic technology to key hospital stakeholders involved in diagnostic decision-making.
• Source new opportunities through structured outbound calling and targeted outreach.
• Secure and schedule qualified meetings for CSMs and MSLs.
• Qualify leads by identifying clinical needs and institutional priorities.
• Conduct introductory, high-level technical conversations to assess fit and interest.
• Own early-stage opportunity progression through meeting creation and handoff.
• Support early evaluations by coordinating access prior to field ownership.
• Partner with CSMs/MSLs to align targeting, messaging, and priorities.
• Support regional meetings, events, and programs with pre- and post-event engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to share insights and feedback.
• Maintain CRM documentation of ISR outreach, meetings, opportunities.
• Participate in training, meetings, and industry events.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.
