Job summary

IDEX Airtech seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to deliver technical and commercial support for Performance Pneumatics. You’ll assist customers, distributors and the field team, guiding product selection and preparing quotes.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Product Management to grow revenue, qualify opportunities and provide application expertise in rotating equipment and industrial machinery. A strong engineering background and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–5 years in inside sales, technical support, or application engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings and data sheets.
• Proficient with CRM tools, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries with technical and commercial guidance.
• Provide product recommendations based on performance needs.
• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals for accounts.
• Grow revenue by engaging existing customers and qualifying leads.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and PM to develop solutions.
