Guidehouse is seeking an Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder to review clinical documentation and extract data to apply ICD-10-CM and CPT codes. The role is full-time and 100% remote, supporting hospital coding, billing, and regulatory compliance under the coding manager.

Requires 5+ years of inpatient ICD-10-CM/PCS experience, 1 year pediatric inpatient coding, and credentials such as RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CIC/CPC. Strong communication and adherence to guidelines are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS inpatient coding experience.
• 1 year of pediatric in-patient coding.
• Must hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, or CPC.

Responsabilidades

• Code in inpatient pediatric accounts across Medicare/non-Medicare, surgical, medical, cardiac, moms/babies, and trauma cases.
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Achieve 95% coding accuracy with high productivity.
• Meet daily queue goals and assist with re-bills and CDI reconciliation.
