Seoulstart is seeking a Certified Inpatient Medical Coder for a remote, hourly contract in the United States. You will review inpatient records, ensure accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, validate MS-DRG assignments, and flag HACs while providing feedback to improve AI model performance.

The role requires active inpatient coding certification and 10+ hours per week availability. You will work with up-to-date guidelines and Coding Clinic guidance to maintain data integrity.

Competenze

• Active inpatient ICD-10-CM/PCS coding certification preferred.
• Experience analyzing inpatient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Familiarity with MS-DRG assignment and HAC/PAC concepts.

Mansioni

• Review inpatient records for accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS coding per guidelines.
• Identify principal/secondary diagnoses and assign POA indicators.
• Validate MS-DRG, including CCs/MCCs, and flag HACs and safety indicators.
• Evaluate AI-generated notes against documentation standards.
• Provide clear feedback on coding errors to improve model performance.
