Job summary

Remolity, Inc. is seeking a Certified Inpatient Medical Coder to support a customer project focused on improving data accuracy for AI training. This remote US role involves reviewing inpatient records, applying ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and ensuring documentation integrity.

You will validate MS-DRG assignments, flag HACs, and provide clear feedback to help models learn and reason better, with a commitment of at least 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active CIC or CCS certification (AHIMA/AAPC).
• Access to ICD-10-CM/PCS coding books and Coding Clinic guidance.
• Experience in inpatient medical coding or CDI role.
• Available for at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient records for ICD-10-CM/PCS coding accuracy.
• Assess documentation for completeness and coding integrity.
• Identify principal/secondary diagnoses and POA indicators.
• Validate MS-DRG assignments with CC/MCC and HAC flags.
• Evaluate AI-generated notes against real documentation and coding standards.
• Code AI outputs using ICD-10-CM/PCS classifications.
• Resolve coding discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
• Provide clear feedback to improve model performance.
