Candidates should have strong inpatient coding experience, CMS/CCI knowledge, and be able to pass the coder proficiency exam. The role offers $40-50 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Inpatient coding experience required.
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM/PCS and MS-DRG/APR-DRG.
• Ability to pass coder proficiency exam.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of CMS, CCI, and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient records and assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes.
• Ensure MS-DRG/APR-DRG accuracy and documentation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Specialists and providers.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and coding compliance.
• Work with Epic, 3M Encoder, and 3M Audit Expert.
