Gainwell Technologies is seeking an Inpatient Coding Auditor, Senior Associate to audit medical records and determine correct coding per contract. You will access proprietary systems to document findings and provide policy support, with a focus on MS-DRG, AP-DRG, APR-DRG, ASC, and APC payment systems.

You must have strong ICD-10 competencies, apply official guidelines, and support cross-functional teams while working remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience performing coding reviews of medical records to determine correct coding per contract.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 CM/PCS, APC, ASC, HCPCS and CPT coding methodologies.
• Understanding of DRG systems (MS-DRG, AP-DRG, APR-DRG) and reimbursement guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Performs audits of medical record documentation to determine code accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Maintains high productivity and quality standards.
• Cross-trains to review multiple claim types as needed.
• Assists training new Coding Auditors with mentoring and education.
• Keeps current with coding guidelines and completes CEUs to maintain certification.
