You will support onboarding and ongoing training, and help develop enterprise-wide quality measures that impact reimbursement and patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Background in Health Information Management, Coding, Revenue Integrity, or related field.
• Experience performing inpatient coding within an acute care environment.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of inpatient reimbursement methodologies and diagnostic grouping processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of inpatient coding and reimbursement outcomes.
• Review documentation and coding decisions for alignment with regulations and industry best practices.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in coding quality and risk areas.
• Provide constructive feedback to help coding professionals strengthen skills and performance.
• Partner with leadership to enhance coding quality programs and support continuous improvement.

Education

RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CIC/COC/CPC certification

Associate degree or equivalent
