Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Facility Inpatient Coding Audit Team Lead to provide both technical leadership and hands-on auditing support for our inpatient coding team. This fully remote, full-time role splits time roughly 50/50 between conducting inpatient audits and leading daily audit operations.

Ideal candidates will have RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification and a minimum of 3 years of inpatient facility coding auditing experience, with outpatient auditing experience a

Qualifications

• 3 years of inpatient facility coding auditing experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or serving as a senior resource for coding auditors is preferred.
• Outpatient facility auditing experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Audit inpatient facility coding with emphasis on MS-DRGs, ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA indicators, discharge disposition, and quality measures.
• Provide education and feedback to coding professionals based on audit findings.
• Lead daily audit operations, balance workloads, and monitor turnaround times and quality.
• Train and onboard new auditors and support performance evaluations.
• Prepare audit reports and dashboards for leadership.
