The role requires RHIA/RHIT/CCS, 3+ years inpatient auditing, strong ICD-10-CM/PCS and CMS knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with remote teams across time zones; US-based and full-time with remote option.

Qualifications

• Active coding credential: RHIA, RHIT, CCS (required).
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient facility auditing experience.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, POA indicators.
• Strong CMS regulations knowledge.
• US-based with remote capability across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient facility coding audits including MS-DRGs and POA indicators.
• Ensure CMS regulations and internal policies compliance.
• Identify coding errors, root causes, and reimbursement impact.
• Provide education and feedback to coding and QA teams.
• Collaborate across time zones and remote teams.
