Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and abstract medical records for inpatient services using coding guidelines.
• Identify documented diagnoses and procedures in medical records.
• Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Group codes to determine DRGs (CMS-DRGs/APR-DRGs).
• Ensure coding and documentation comply with established standards.
