Job summary

The position requires CCS or CCS-P certification, and experience in ICD-10-CM PCS and CPT-4 coding along with MS-DRG assignment. AHIMA standards and high attention to accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires CCS or CCS-P certification. AHIMA standards knowledge mandatory.
• Inpatient ICD-10-CM PCS and CPT-4 coding experience required.
• Experience with MS-DRG assignment and outpatient coding.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Codes and abstracts information from inpatient and outpatient records.
• Assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT codes with proper modifiers.
• Determines MS-DRG based on codes and documentation.
• Maintains compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards.
